Back To Tubular Filters Main Page


The length of a tubular filter is determined by adding the connector dimensions from the table below. The filter length is obtained from the Length vs. Frequency tables.

Example:
A 5-section bandpass filter Model BC with a center frequency of 300 MHz and with SMA connectors has a filter dimension of 3.4" and a connector dimension of 0.8 inches. The total length is 5.0 inches.
