Salisbury, MD, May 15, 2007 - Lorch Microwave, Inc., a Smiths Interconnect Company, received ISO 14001: 2004 certification of its Environmental Management System from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.
ISO 14001 certification confirms that Lorch Microwave meets the requirements of the international standard for environmental management. Certification is granted to companies that have demonstrated a continued commitment to environmental stewardship. Lorch Microwave Opens European Sales Office
Lorch Microwave is pleased to announce the appointment of John Taunton as European Sales Manager. RF Distribution Assembly (RFD-00001)
The RFD-00001 is an RF Distribution assembly used in military airborne signal processing applications. Frequency range is 2-700 Mhz, insertion loss 3.5 db, phase and amplitude tracked from 2 to 700 Mhz.
9 channel switched filter (9IFA-20/600-SR)
The 9IFA-20/600-SR is a 9 channel switched filter band used in airborne countermeasure test set application. Specifications are: 9 channels with bandwidth ranging from 10 Mhz to 550 Mhz, insertion loss 5 db, vswr 2.0:1. Rejection 60 db to 10 Ghz, logic TTL, switching speed 250 ns, dc power +5v @ 200 mA.

Diplexer (DX-2700/4900-N)
The DX-2700/4900-N is an 802.11 diplexer for use in signal distribution for indoor wireless voice, data and internet.
Specifications are: low band 380-4200 Mhz, High band 4900-5850 Mhz, insertion loss .5 db, selectivity 50 db, return loss 18 db, Input power 1 watt & PIM Level -95 dbm.
6 Channel Switch Bank (6IFA-4000/80-2000-P)
6IFA-4000/80-2000-P is a six-channel switch filter bank with all channels centered at 4000 MHz. The 3 dB bandwidths for each channel varies starting with 80 MHz on channel one and ending with 2000 MHz on channel six.
This unit utilizes dielectric and LC filters featuring a very tight shape factor. The bank utilizes a +5V power supply and three TTL control lines for switching. The insertion loss is specified as 8.0 dB maximum over a -40 to +85 deg. C operating temperature range. Total package size for this device is 2.7 x 2.25 x .4 excluding connectors. This unit provides excellent phase noise characteristics under vibration. The assembly has been built to achieve stringent Mil-STD-202 environmental conditions.
Terminated Low Pass (8LPX1-28.5-N/B)
The 8LPX1-28.5-N/B is a terminated low pass filter with directional ports. The filter features a 2 dB typical cut-off of 28.5 MHz. The VSWR is 2.0:1 from DC to 100 MHz. The rejection is 50 dB minimum from 31.5 MHz to 100 MHz. The low pass has a standard operating temperature of -40 to +85 and is capable of handling a power of 50 watts CW.
7LD-1000X-NM/N
The 7LD-1000X-NM/N is a tubular Low Pass filter. This low pass has been designed for suppression of harmonics in a transmitter co-location environment. This filter provides insertion loss less than .6dB from .3 to 1000 MHz. This filter provides 50 db of attenuation at 1200 MHz. This part can withstand 40 watts of CW power for an extended period of time. The typical VSWR is 1.3:1 from .3 to 1000 MHz. The physical size is 5.0 x .75. This filter can be configured with SMA connectors as well.
6IFA-7250/9750-MP

The 6IFA-7250/9750-MP is a six channel high frequency low profile switch bank. The unit features a 2.6 x 2.0 x .390 tall package with 2-56 heli-coil mounting. The unit utilizes a +5 volt power supply at 75 mA max. The switching speed is 50 ns and the filters bandwidths are <10%. Typical VSWR is 2.0:1 and the maximum insertion loss is 10 dB at band centers. The 5IFA-9230/10510-SR is a five channel high frequency switch bank. The unit features a 4.0 x 3.0 x 1.0 package with sma-female connectors. I MT2000 Diplexer
Lorch Microwave offers an IMT-2000 Diplexer. The diplexer has bandwidths from 1920MHz to 1980MHz and 2110MHz to 2170MHz. The diplexer exhibits less than 1.0dB of insertion loss across these bandwidths while providing greater than 60dB of co-channel isolation. The passband VSWR is better than 1.5:1.
GSM/DCS Dual Band Diplexer
Lorch Microwave offers a GSM/DCS Dual Band Diplexer. The diplexer has bandwidths from 890MHz to 950MHz and 1710MHz to 1890MHz. The diplexer exhibits less than 0.5dB of insertion loss across these bandwidths while providing greater than 80dB of co-channel isolation. The passband VSWR is better than 1.25:1. The diplexer is 8.00" x 3.30" x 2.25".
WD-00004 Full Band EGSM Duplexer
Lorch Microwave offers WD-00004, a full band EGSM duplexer, with a Tx and Rx passband insertion loss of less than 1.0dB and ripple less than 0.5dB. The duplexer exhibits an isolation from Tx to Rx of greater than 60dB. The duplexer operates within specification between ö20 deg and +70 deg C and at the following power levels--5 kwatts PIP and 2.5 kwatts PEP.

NEW! Lorch Microwave's Model 4DF12-449/6-N is a pole placed ceramic filter with a center frequency of 449 MHz which offers enhanced selectivity. The filter has a passband of 6 MHz, insertion loss less than 1.2 dB at center frequency and VSWR of 1.5:1. The filter has a passband flatness at fo ± 3 MHz of less than 0.5 dB. The co-channel isolation is greater than 50 dB. The VSWR is 1.5:1. Lorch Microwave's Model D7CF4-5745/5810-S (not pictured) has 3 dB bandwidths of 40 MHz and insertion loss at center frequency of less than 2.0 dB. The co-channel isolation is greater than 50 dB. Lorch Microwave's Models WF-00004 and WF-00007 are full band PCS transmit and receive filters offering high selectivity and low insertion loss in a small package. Each filter offers a passband insertion loss of less than 0.9 dB (0.8 dB typ.) and a passband flatness of less than 0.4 dB. Rejection frequencies for the receive band are DC to 1830 MHz greater than 40 dB and 1930 MHz to 1990 MHz greater than 60 dB. Rejection frequencies for the transmit band are DC to 1910 MHz greater than 60 dB and 2010 MHz to 6000 MHz greater than 50 dB. Return loss for each filter is better than 15 dB. D10EZX-5362.5/5737.5-S C-Band Diplexer/LNA
Unit is a C-Band diplexer with low noise amplifier in the RX band. Assembly features high performance electrical specifications in small rugged configuration for airborne environments. The diplexer features 85 dB TX to RX isolation while maintaining a 1.0 dB maximum pass band insertion loss. This assembly also provides the option for additional filtering with an external filter option.
FS-30-10/2000-B
A field selectable 30 channel filter bank. The unit incorporates 15 highpass filters and 15 lowpass filters which can be selectively chosen by the user. In addition any individual lowpass filter may be configured with any individual highpass filter to yield a bandpass response. The unit is widely used in laboratory testing environments.

The DA-6-425-50-X is a digital attenuator that covers 400 to 450 MHz. This unit features a 4.0 x 2.0 x .4 low profile package. Typical specifications include 5.5 dB insertion loss, 1.6:1 VSWR, 6 control lines (TTL) .5 dB to 16 dB of attenuation, +5 V DC at 20 mA, +15 dBm input power, 1 Micro second maximum switching speed and an operating temperature of -40 to +85 deg.
